EyeGuitar
"This project enables severely disabled users to play an existing Guitar
Hero type game using solely their eye movements.
As the user looks at the computer monitor, EyeGuitar monitors where
they are looking and looks for patterns within this. Next, EyeGuitar interprets
these actions and passes on the relevant commands to the game. This
enables the user to have complete, fluid control over the game using solely
their eyes.
In user studies it has been found that many users of the game score
considerably higher using EyeGuitar than using the normal playing method.
A big motivation behind this project was to allow people with severe
disabilities to be able to participate in a fun task completely independently of
their carers. It is believed that this is the only such system in existence for a
music video game."
